I dunno what the hell’s in there, but it’s weird and pissed off, whatever it is.

John Carpenter’s The Thing was released in 1982 and was a box office flop and took a critical mauling. Since then, it’s grown in stature to be regarded a modern classic, one of the great movie remakes, and helped cement Carpenter’s position as the Master Of Horror.

Cut us loose dammit, All The Right Movies are talking Carpenter, Russell and Morricone. Why don’t we just wait here for a little while, see what happens?
