Psycho is a landmark of horror cinema. One of Alfred Hitchcock’s most acclaimed films, its influence is difficult to overstate. Directed by Hitchcock from a script by Joseph Stefano, it is the story of Norman Bates – a motel owner with mother issues and a violent side – and Marion Crane – the luckless secretary who stumbles across the Bates motel one rainy night.
